Shakespearn tragedy is the classification of drama written by William Shakespeare. Usually the tragedies have a noble protagonist who is flawed in some way, usually placed in a stressful situation and ends in a fatal situation.Shakespeare tragedies often focus on the fall of a nobleman, Usually his downfall is tragic.In all, Shakespeare wrote 10 tragedies.

Shakespeare covered a long range of themes and characters in his comedies. Three comedies that were preformed. Three comedies that were preformed in 1594."Comedy" in the Elizabethan usuage had a different meaning from modern comedy. Shakespearean comedy is one that has a happy ending, usually involving marriages between the unmarried characters and have a more lighthearted tone.

Who is Shakespeare?

William Shakespeare was a famous English poet, playwrite and actor. He is often called England's national poet and "The bard of avon". Though little is known about his personal life, his works have influenced literature and theater for over 400 years.
