"Horrific events can be difficult for children to deal with and no one wants to cause children to fear for their own safety. However, in order to remind ourselves and teach our children how precious our nation's freedoms are, painful events of the past must sometimes be talked about. Heroes must be honored and we must never forget." - Cindi Rose, SF Children's Fiction Examiner

NEVER FORGET

The word "hero" means: a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. When we consider the courage and sacrifice of the first responders on 9/11 the word "hero" certainly fits. Write a letter to someone you think is a true "hero".
