When you write you want to create a mini-movie in the reader's mind.

You can appeal to the senses by describing what you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel with vivid details and figurative language.

When I visit the beach, I like to find a shady place under a lazy palm and dig my toes in the cool sand.

Sense of touch: dig my toes in the cool sand.

I can hear the wind whisper through the leaves and the gentle rhythm of the rolling water.

Sense of Hearing: the wind whispering through the trees, the rhythm of the rolling water...

Which sense does the sentence below appeal to?
