This basically is just a video of Selena perfoming, but this happens to be my favorite song she sings. And I also choose this vidoe, because to me this video really show how happy Selena was up on stage. She loved performing,and people LOVED to watch her.

Selena Quintanilla was born on April 16, 1971, and was killed on March 31, 1995. As a child Selena loved singing. She lived with her father, Abraham Quintanilla Jr, and her mother, Marcella Samora. At the age of 10 she became the lead singer of her family's band, Selena Y Los Dinos. After singing in her family band, Selena knew that she really wanted to be a singe when she grew up.

Since Selena was beginning to become more and more popular, and her travel performances were interfering with her school work, Selena stopped attending school during 8th grade. Even though she had quit attending school, Selena still received and earned her high school degree at a correspondence school in Chicago.

Selena’s career grew rapidly. By 1988 she had released 2 albums, but the next year, 1989, was when she got her big break, and signed with Capitol/EMI Latin labels. This made thousands and thousands of people come to her concerts. Selena was a SUCCESS!

Selena is famous for being the Queen of Tejano. She is such a great singer and for a celebrity, she carries herself very well. This is why I choose her to do my project over. I love her music. She is beautiful, and was a great role model for girls out there everywhere. There really isn't a person that I could compare Selena too. In my opinion, she is her own person, and that is very specail.

Selena drove a black BMW and then somebody stole it and dumped it into the sea. She then got a red Porsche.

She always wanted to live on a farm.

Selena had a very big egg collection.

After every concert, Selena would ask her father "How'd i do?"
