If each towel uses the same amount of weight, then Brawny will hold the most weight before breaking.

My hypothesis was if each towel used the same amount of weight, then Brawny will hold the most weight before breaking. My hypothesis was wrong because Bounty and Viva tied for the strongest paper towel with an average of 132.6. Brawny was the weakest with an average of 109.3. This experiment is valuable in the real world because it influences your decision on which brand of towel to buy. I discovered that you should hold the towel the same way because it can have an impact your results. I would use a greater weight because it was hard to find 135 quarters to use as weight. My advise is to have patience with this project because you never know when the towel will break. Some questions I thought of during the experiment were, "How many quarters will it take to break the paper towel?" and "What other paper towel brands would this experiment work with?"

1.wet down 1 towel of each brand of towel with water.2.place the quarters starting with 3 in the middle of the towel3.lift towel by the ends for 10 seconds and record if the towel broke or didn't break4.repeat with different towel brands and add more quarters until the towel breaks.
