The person who is diagnosed with schizophrenia, their family and close friends will be affected by the illness because family and friends will have to try and cope with the stress, and illness. They will feel very emotional because of the symptoms that play a role on the person. The person diagnosed with schizophrenia can also think about committing suiccide.

Who may schizophrenia affect?

Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that affects the way a person, acts, thinks, and see's the world people with schizophrenia xpeience many mixed emotions. Schizophrenia is also a psychotic disorder. People with schizophrenia are usually unable to filter sensory stimuli and may have enchanced understandings of sounds, and colours.

-hallucinations-apathy,lack of emotion-poor or non-exiscistent social functioning-disorganized thoughts,difficulty concentrating,memory problems,voices.

Symtoms of schizophrenia

Someone that is diagnosed with schizophrenia, will lead to problematic substance use in some scenarios depending on the person, and how they react to their illness.If the person has drugs or alchoal it can affect their perscription drugs. People with this illness could feel neglected by their family beacuse they feel different then others. They will feel judged on how their mind thinks, and feel hurt when friends and family feel threatened by the symtoms
