Sahara Desert
The Sahara is a harsh environment with extreme conditions.The climate has mainly hot, sunny, windy and dry conditions all year long
Animals of the region include the Desert Fox, Monitor Lizards, and the Saharan Cheetah
The desert covers large sections of Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan and Tunisia.
The Sahara is the world’s largest hot desert and one of the harshest environments on the planet.
Near wadis and oases, plants such as date palms, tamarisks and acacia grow.
There are species of olives and cypress trees found in the Sahara highlands. Mostly trees are found.
Most People have Berber and/or Arabic roots.According to estimates, the Sahara's entire population probably equals less than two million people.
Most of the Sahara's population follows the Islamic religion, introduced in the seventh century AD.
The Tuareg are an Islamic African people. They are classified as seminomadic , meaning that they travel with their herds on a seasonal basis but also have a home area where they grow some food crops. The Tuareg are best known for the men's practice of veiling their faces with a blue cloth dyed with indigo.
Most camel herding is mostly still done by men; although women can inherit and own camels, they tend to own and herd goats, sheep, and donkeysTraditionally, jobs are determined by descent.
The weather in morrocco tends to be warm and sun soaked all year with one especially hot season from June to September.
Something very common in Morrocco is markets. Markets where you can find very beautiful art work or just fruit and vegetables.
Human interaction in the desert often hurt the desert, by making roads through them and overgrazing animals.

Tradition dress for both men and women is long hooded garment known as a djellaba. Still some women decide to wear the tradional islamic clothing.
Some common jobs are dentists, nurses, doctors, bus station workers,government workers.
