Sacco-Vanzetti Case


The Sacco-Vanzetti case is about two men who were accused of committing murder in the armed robbery of a shoe factory.They were put on trial and hired a laywer, Fred Moore, to defend them.Despite all he did from holding public meetings and organizing protests he still lost the case and Sacco and Vanzetti were unjustly executed in the electric chair on August 23, 1927.

What did they do?


Why Famous?


The legacy they left is that the country was wrong for executing them just because they were immigrants and anarchist.

They werent really famous they were more well known.They were known beacuse of how they were unjustly killed, another wrongful execution of the judicial system.

They were just two Italian immigrants that did not commit anything illegal but were killed.

Many people started to know about their case then it drawn worldwide attention. Severino Di Giovanni, an Italian anarchist and a supporter Sacco and Vanzetti, bombed the American Embassay in Buenos Aires, soon after the two men were sentenced to death.

-They were convicted of a murder they did not comit.-They were unjustly executed.
