Rwanda Genocide
Beginning on April 6, 1994, Hutus began slaghtering the Tutsis in the African country of rwanda. As the brutal killings countinued, the world stood idly by and just watched the slaughter. Lasting an 100 days, the rwanda genocide left approximatly 8000 Tutsis and Hutu sympahizers dead.

What were the causes?
The tentions between the majority Hutus and the Tutsis, who were seen as the elite members of society. Rwanda independence, in 1963, when the Tutsis were disciminated against, and went into exile in Uganda
what were the effects? Was there an invention?
The mass murder of alomost 75% of Tutsis population. By 1997, the Tutsis ran the goverment. Nearly 9% of the adult population is HIV positive. The UR secruity concil established International Criminal Tribunal.
How did the rwanda genocide end ?
The Rwanda Genocide ended only when the RPF took over the country. The RPF were a trained military group consisting of Tutsis who had been exiled in earlier the years, many whom lived in Uganda
