Russian Revolution

Valdimir LeninHe turned against the Russian Goverment and founded the Bolshevik party,he also sought out to establish a communist social system.

The Russian Revolution is connected to the modern world because we wouldn't be where we are now without the revolution.

"Russian citizens revolt and force Czar Nicholas II to give up power provisional goverment is established"(Human Legacy 790).

"The Bolshevik goverment signs the treaty of Brest-Litovsk, which ends Russian involment in World War I"(Human Legacy 790).

Bolsheviks wanted to overthrow Czar because then the workers could gain power and rule Russia as a socialist country.

The Bosheviks' acceptance of the treaty to end Russia's involvment in world War I had upset many Russian's deeply.

On March 8, 1917, citizens who were not happy went to the streets of Pertrograd to protest.

The Bolsheviks were a small Marxist groupand they sought to change Russia through revolution.
