Rosh Hashanah is the frist Jewish High Holy Day of the new year bevause it celebrates new year ahead of you.
Rosh Hashanah continues for two day's and looks back on the wrong doing's of the past year. During this time no-one will do any work. On Rosh Hashanah they also blow the shofar.

In the bible Rashanah is not used in the bible as a holiday, but it is as used as the rememberance day of the past year.
Blowing the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah
In Hebrew Rosh Hashanah means 'head of the year" and is regularly known as the Jewish New Year. During the time of Rosh Hashanah they also light Chanukkah candles. This is known as the festival of light's.
A tradition on the high holy day of Rosh Hashanah is when they dip nthe apple's in honey to represent the new and sweet year ahead of them.
On Rosh Hashanah a tradition that they do is when they recite the story of Isacc.
