Room 220 Holiday Traditions

What Are Your Holiday Traditions?

Some families celebrate Christmas. They also like visiting the zoo for the Festival of Lights. Another family tradition is to visit the Sharon Woods Holiday in Lights. At Christmas, some families bake cookies together too.

Some families like to visit downtown Cincinnati and see the holiday displays, like the trains. Mrs. B's family tradition is to visit downtown, walk around to look at the lights and have "ice cream for dinner" while sitting on Fountain Square.

Some families celebrate Hanakkah. They like to visit the Cincinnti Zoo to see the Festival of Lights display. Each year, we make latkes at school when we learn about Hanukkah.

Some families like to ride around in the car and look at how different houses are decorated with Christmas lights. When they return home, the enjoy some hot chocolate and watch holiday movies.
