Although Caracalla was a cruel ruler he did extrodianary things like building public baths. He is well-known as a military genius and leader

Caracalla and his brother Geta shared power with their father, Septimius Severus, making them co-rulers. When their father died they began to fight over the power and later Caracalla murdered his brother becoming the next emperor.
