Roma

These are the two main squares in Rome: the image on the left represents Venezia Square (Piazza Venezia), and the image on the right shows Spagna's Square (Piazza di Spagna).

ROMA

These two pictures represent the most ancient part of Rome that dates back two thousand years ago. The picture on the left shows the "Colosseum," the Roman amphitheater, while the image on the right presents the "Foro Romano," namely ruins of the Roman Empire.

Roma: caput mundi (the capital of the world)

These last two images show two important religious buildings in Rome: on the left, there is the famous "Basilica of San Pietro," Catholic place of worship, while on the right, there is the "Pantheon," built for the worship of all Gods during the Roman Empire.

Romolus and RemusThe legend of Rome says that the city was founded by two twins abandoned by their family. They were able to survive thanks to the help of a wolf feeding them.
