The Rock Cycle

I am SedimentaryRock!

Igneous Rock!

Never ending process in which rocks go from metamorphic to sedimentary, to igneous back to metamorphic rock.

Most rocks are formed underneath the Earth's surface. There are two types of igneous rock intrusive and extrusive. Intrusive rocks cool inside the Earth. Extrusive rocks are formed on the surface of the Earth.

Metamorphic Rock!

Metamorphic rock is formed by heat and pressure. How deep it is, how much heat it gets, and how long it's exposed depends on its shape. Metamorphic rock is excellent construction material.

Most rock is sedimentary rock. Sedimentary rocks are located on Earth's surface. They are deposited in layers called beds. There are three types of sedimentary rock clastic, chemical, and organic rocks. Clastic rocks are formed by erosions. Chemical rocks are formed when certain chemical are in water. Last is organic rocks which are rocks made by dead animals an plants over thousands of years ago.
