When the radio came on to the sene in the 1920s, Americans could now listen to the news, listen to sports, and shows. Americans expected for radio stations to broadcast national news.

Women were big advocates forprohibition in the 1920s.Women prohibition supporters often made the argument that alcoholencouraged domestic violence.these women felt that withoutalcohol, crime and domestic violence would go downand as a result improve society.
