Roaring Twenties

Robert H. Goddard was an American Engineer, Professor, Physicist, and inventor. He is credited with creating and building the world's first liquid fueled rocket. He successfuly launched on March 16th, 1926. Goddard's work based on theorists and engineer anticpated developments to make spaceflight possible.

ROARING TWENTIES

Found in 1866, the Ku Klux Klan extended in almost every Southern state by 1870. Its members waged underground campaigns intimidation and violence directed at white and black republican leaders.
