Rick Riordan

He loved the Lord of the Rings books when he was a child and read them about ten times. He has two sons – Haley and Patrick.Rick Riordan enjoys reading, swimming, playing guitar, travelling and playing video games. One of his FAVORITE movies is Star Trek.

Rick Riordan's most famous work was the Percy Jackson and the Olympian Series. Some books are: The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle fo the Labyrinth.Heroes of Olympus series. Some books are: The Lost Hero, The House of Hades, The Son of Neptune.The Kane Chronicles series. Some books are: The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, The Serpent Shadow.

Rick Riordan was born on June 5, 1964 in San Antonio, TX and still lives today at the age of 51. He is famous for writing the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. He went to Alamo Heights High School and then attended the University of Texas which he later graduated. He then became a teacher of English and Social Studies at Presidio High School in San Francisco. Since he loved to learn history, he wrote a book about greek mythology. Since his Percy Jackson and Olympians series became populat around the world, he then became an author.
