I am a minister named Roger Williams!

Roger Williams was a minister and he founded Rhode Island. The reason he founded it is because he wanted people to practice different beliefs. He also belived that the colony should discuss diffrerent religions. He named a settlement Providence. It eventually became Rhode Island's capital.

Rhode Island was founded in 1635.The people who lived in Providence raised animals and planted crops. Some of the crops were corn, tabbaco, and beans.

Anne Hutchinson was born in New England. She was a very religous person. She was a puritan. She had 15 children but was massacred by Native Americans and only 9 of her 15 children died.
