The Boston Tea Party was a rebellion against the British Government. It was an expression of the colonsits disgust with the British impositions and rule.
Rebellion: an act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler.

Vocabulary
The Minutemen were important military men who helped fight many battles.
Tax: a compulsory to state revenue, levied bt the government on worker's pay or business profits, or added to the cost of goods and services.
The Stamp Act, Sugar Act, and Tea act were all taxes levied on the colonies. The British used them to pay for the cost of the war, which left the colonists with few resources.
Minutemen: a small, hand-picked, elite force who were required to be highly mobile and able to assemble quickly.
