There were 300 casulties from the Colonists side. But only 64 on Britians side.If General William Howe would have heeded his officerspleas and stormed the americanredoubts at Brooklyn Hights, theywould have had a greater victory.

The Colonists stoic commander wrote a letterto his brother, "I think thegame is pretty near up."After the battle, the Colonists quickly were overcome withsickness and desise.

The Battle of Princetontook place in Princeton New Jersey. The Americans Beat theBritish and took Princeton.

Many Americans don't relizethat George Washington actuallycrossed and recrossed theDelaware River a total of four times before that battle. After they took Princeton, Washington deemed best to putthe river between them and theBritish.
