"Speak; I am bound to hear." It is Hamlet's duty as a son to listen to his father, ghost or not. Hamlet is told it is up to him to avenge his father. His father's life was taken by Hamlet's uncle and Hamlet vows to prove his love and loyalty by taking revenge on his uncle.

Hamlet isn't the only one with an agenda for revenge. Look out for Laertes...

"Now he is praying...and so I am revenged." Hamlet falters a few times before completeing his revenge, revealing it is more of a duty than it being from his heart.
