Remember the Alamo

-Siege lasted for 13 days-Fought periodically-Travis sent out for help, but only a few came-March 6, Mexican army (1,500) climbed the walls and killed all but four (182 in total)

-News of the battle was heard around the US-Troops swarmed to Stephen F. Austin's (Commander of Texa army) aid and won Battle of San Jacinto-cried "Remember the Alamo!"
