Religion: Christianity

GOD:Christians believe that God is a trinity. God is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit

Jesus:Jesus was put on Earth to erase sins from mankind

The Bible (old and new testament):The bible is the sacred text for the Christian religion. It has stories from Jesus's time and has rules for Christians to follow

God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He created the world in 7 days and created the first people, Adam and Eve. To communicate with God, christians pray. Christians pray for forgiveness, for health, and other things they need from God. God can always forgive no matter how small or large the sin is. Adam and Eve were the first humans to sin. God forgave them although they went against what he told them to do

Many Christians believe that Jesus could communicate with god and was the son of God. Others believe that Jesus was a human version of the holy spirit (God). Jesus was Mary's first son. Mary was still a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus. Mary was born without the original sin and so was Jesus Jesus taught others to love others the way he loved God. He also taught that God loved everyone and they should love God how he loved them

In the bible it says that Jesus was killed on a cross but came back to life because he never made a sin. A story from the bible is Jonah and the Whale. Jonah was swallowed by a whale as a punishment for his sins. He had to pray and realize what he did wrong to escape the whale. The seven sacraments are baptism, eucharist, reconciliation, confirmation, marriage, holy orders, and anointing of the sick

MARY

JESUS

Mary is the mother Jesus. Mary is also known as mary the virgin. She was a virgin when she was impregnated by the Holy Spirit (God).

Jesus is the son of God. He taught others about God and how to not be sinful. Christians believe that after he was killed on a cross he came back to life because he was unsinful.

THE POPE

The pope is significant to the christian religion because he is the head churches and the bishop of Rome. He maintains diplomatic relationships between 100+ nations. A day for a Pope is typically spent writing epistles/formal communications.

It originated in in Jerusalem because Jesus lived in Nazareth which is near Jerusalem so he went along with his disciples to teach.

Jesus raised/grew up in nazareth

Jesus was born in bethlehem

christianity originated in Roman occupied Jerusalem, a mainly Jewish society but not entirely.

Today Christianity is all over the world and is the most practiced religion
