Redemption Land

Jesus gets baptized by his cousin John. Although Jesus is free from sin, he got baptized to save us from our own sin. Saint paul said, "For our sake he [the Father] made him [the Son] to be sin who did not know sin, so that we might become the rightousness of God in him"(2 Corinthians 5:21).

At the wedding at Cana, the wedding runs out of wine. Jesus then gets a cup of water and transforms it to wine. This si done with God and not Jesus "magical powers." By Jesus doing that miriacle, he shows us that God is always there for us and would give us anything to be happy.

Jesus aslo teaches us about Poverty of Heart VS material poverty. Poverty of Heart is ahving a good connection with God and having God with you in your life. Material poverty is having things taht are unnescasary. Jesus taught us that we do not gain salvation from materialstic poverty and we get it from poverty of the heart. People at the time thought that if you had more materialstic things you were blessed by God but Jesus taught us the complete opposite. "Blessed are you who are poor, / for the kingdom of God is yours... But woe to you who are rich, / for you have not recieved your consolation" (Luke 6:20,24).

Jesus=Messiah, taecher, savior....

In this video, the man is showing that working will get you money which is materialistic poverty but in reality, money will never get you closer to God.

By listening to Jesus' teachings and appling them to yourself will help you get to the kingdom of God. If you also have strong connection with God you will have a better life, even afterlife!

At the Sermon on The Mount, Jesus teaches us many ways of living life but one is very important. 21 “You have heard that [a]the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be [b]liable to the court.’" (Matthew 5:21). Jesus is saying we shall not kill or use violence because taht makes the situation worse for us and Jesus.
