People want to reduce methane emission. This is because they found out about global warming. When items go to a landfill they are buried they decompose and emit methane. Methane is a deadly greenhouse gas. These greenhouse gasses create a large, thick blanket along the Earth’s magnetic field. This causes the sun’s heat ray to stay in the atmosphere. This causes the temperature to rise also known as global warming.

Due to recycling there are fewer trash emissions. Now that there is less trash in landfills there is less methane. Methane is a greenhouse gas. These contribute to global warming. Global warming can end up killing us all. So since recycling reduces emissions and global warming.

People are beginning to realize that they're not recycling and that it is hurting our environment. So these people want to fix their mistakes. This cause is important because people are beginning to lean towards our main topic of recycling.

The third and final effect is that more energy security is saved. This is saved because the amount of energy saved differs by material. Almost all recycled materials are saving energy. For example, for each can recycled, this is enough energy to run a television or computer for three hours. Another example is recycling of aluminum cans saves 95 percent of the energy required to make the same amount of aluminum from virgin sources.

When people recycle there are many good effects that can come out of it. 1 effect is that more jobs or businesses will be created. This is because when people recycle the recycled materials don’t just disappear they go to factories where they're broken down it new materials to make new products.

This topic is relevant because it can stop a lot of problems and help keep our earth clean. Plus there is so few causes of recycling and so many effects. That is why we need to make this happen now, make this more relevant than it already is this is so important. Let's make recycling an every day and everyone thing!

The next is the transportation from local garbage centers to waste management. Then from waste management to a landfill. This all uses a lot of energies and also pollutes. That is why recycling will reduce the amoun of trash emmited.
