The Geothermal engery process

HistoryGeothermal Energy started 10,000 years ago in North America. The American Paleo Inaians they used hot springs to bath and heating. The first geothermal power plant relates to the Larderello Fields in 1904. In 1922 the first geothermal power plant opened.

Advantages- It is a renewable source- It is a clean energy sourceDisadvantages- Not all areas are able to use this type of energy source - There is also a HUGE start up cost

ProcessThe process of geothermal energy starts in the earths core where the heat is located. Long pipes go to the core to get the heat that is produced in the core.Once the heat comes up to the plant steam is produced.

New TechnologySome new techology for geothermal energy is they start using oilfeilds. They will still use volcanos.
