Rattle snakes are carnivores, which means that they are meat eaters. They kill there prey by releasing deadly venom into the animal, not by constricting their pray like many other snakes do.

Rattle snakes are ovoviviporous, which means the female gives live birth after storing eggs inside the body. The mothers often stay with their brood for many weeks after birth.

Rattlesnakes live in North and South America. However, your best chance to see one is in the plains of the southwestern United States.
