Great Moments

This author is most famous for writing the Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children series, Talking Pictures, and The Sherlock Holmes Handbook. The book Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children was the #1 NY Times Best-Seller for 45 weeks. But, since he is a pretty new author, he has not won many awards because he does not have much name recognition.

Did You Know?

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is being made into a movie! It will star Eva Green and Asa Butterfield. He also makes short book trailers, films, and other videos on his YouTube channel @ransriggs. One Christmas, his parents bought him a camera, which got him into photography, which is a large part of his stories. In addition to his imagination, most of Riggs' stories are inspired by vintage snapshots that he purchases at flea markets or off of Ebay and/or Etsy.
