What is Racial Discrimination?

Racial Discrimination is when someone is treated differently because of their race

On December 11, 1955 Rosa Parks was on the public bus on her way home from work where was a total of ten seats on the bus marked for white people and Rosa was occuping one of them. When another white man boarded the bus and asked her to move she denied standing her ground. She was later arrested for this bold act.

What is Racial Profiling?

Racial Profiling is a law enforcement that supports officers to stop people depeding on their race, religion, ethnicity and nationality and search and investigate them

Trayvon Martin a 17 year old living in Sanford, Florida was shot by 28 year old, George Zimmerman on Febuary 26, 2012. George was on neighbourhood watch and say Trayvon walking home, George thought that it was sketchy Trayvon had his hood up and also took into account that he was African American. George shot him claiming it was self defense however Trayvon was unarmed and was not harming anyone.

This quote by Gandhi relates to racial discrimination because it is saying that if we want to stop racism in the world then we need to teach the children of the world not to be racist because they are the future.
