1. Rabies can be transmitted through any mammal 2. Once symptoms of rabies appear, the person rarely survives the disease even with treatment 3. Prevention is better than curing because you most likely won't be able to cure it4. Rabies is transmitted primarily by saliva

RABIES

HARMFULViruses are harmful because they can kill people and sometimes there is no cure. Viruses spread very easily. People don't keep things clean and that is the number one way viruses can spread.

HELPFULViruses are helpful by allowing us to use them to creat vaccines to prevent those viruses. They also allow us to do research to find cures for the viruses.

Ways you can prevent viruses are by washing you hands, staying away from sick people, getting vaccinated, and covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough.
