Queen Hatshepsut

Her nephew, Thutmose III, immediatly regained control of the throne. It was weired that he had her assassinated right when he got old enough to become pharaoh.

Queen Hatshepsut made beautiful artwork, temples and lots of buildings. One of her famous ones was a temple at Beir-el Bhari that had beautiful artwork and hieroglyphics on the walls.

Queen Hatshepsut organized the journey to the Land of Punt. The purpose of the trip was to trade,and evidence indecates that she managed to bring back numerous precious and rare articles bake to Egypt.
