[2013] Kyle McNally (Period 1, Social Studies 5th Grade): Pythagoras Of Samos And His Theorem

Pythagoras was born in Samos, Greece in 571 BCE. He was a native to Greece along with his mother and father. He also had three siblings that lived with him growing up. Pythagoras was mentored by Thales, Pherekydes, and Anaximander. Pythagoras along with math was taught astronomy and medicane. As he went on in his life he married a woman named Theano and he had 4 kids. Around this period he developed his most famous work; the Pythagreon Theorem.

Pythagoras acomplished a very famous thereom called the Pythagreon Theorem. He also developed the idea of odds and evens, prime and composite. Along with his work in algebra and numbers he brought back the idea of the right angle and made it mathmatical. These are his accomplishments.

His impact on us was that he classified numbes into odds and evens etc. Also Pythagoras developed the Pythagreon Thereom and reintroduced the right angle and made it mathmatical.
