Psoriasis

There are medicated creams, ointments, shampoos and soaps to help reduce the effects (even though psoriasis is chronic/long term). Doctors identify psoriasis by looking for raised scales, red patches, or white scales.

Psoriasis is caused mainly by genetics, but can be triggered by environmental factors. Anyone can contract psoriasis, but it mostly affects people who are teens or middle-aged adults.

Psoriasis is a non-contagious disease of the skin. It gives  the affected person itches plaques in areas of trauma.
