Real Life Situations:- Simple Probability: Your friends and yourself are playing a game of tossing a coin. They bet that the coin is going to land on tails and you bet the oposite would happen. You want to know how likely is for the coin to land on heads to know if you should or should't go for heads. - Formula: P(H)= O/T- Solved Formula: P(H)= 1/2.- Solution: You have a 1/2 (50%) chance of winning the game.- Independent Probability: Your friend is playing a dice game and wants to know what is the probability of getting a 3, and a 2 when rolling the dice 2 times. - Formula: P(A&B) = P(A)*P(B)- Solved Formula: 3/6 * 2/6 -->1/3 * 1/3 = 1/6 - Solution: Your friend has a 1/6 (16.6%) chance of getting a 3 and a 2 when rolling the dice 2 times.- Dependent Probability: You are going to take 3 tests and you want to know what is the probability of Getting A's on the first two tests.- Formula: P(A ∩ B) = P(A)*P(B|A)- Solved Formula: P(A ∩ B) = (2/3) * (1/2) = 2/6- Solution: You have a 1/3 (33.3%) of getting A's on the first 2 tests.

Types Of Probability

(1) Simple Probability:- All probability Uses this formula.- Formula (Algebraic): P(X)= Outcome/Total- Formula (Textual): Favorable outcomes over total posible outcomes.

2) Compound Dependent Probability:- Used hen probability of B is dependant of A.- Formula (Algebraic): P(A∩B)=P(A)*P(B|A)- Formula (Textual): Probability of event A times probability of event 2 given that event a already happened first.

3)Compound Independent Probability:- When probability of B is not dependant of probability of A.- Formula (Algebraic): P(A & B) = P(A)*P(B)- Formula (Textual): Probability of event 1 times probability of event 2.

Probability is used when trying to find the likehood of a future event happening.

Conclusions: In conclusion, there are different types of probability, but all serve for the function of finding the likehood of a future event happening. The probability is used in our daily lifes without us even noticing when we try to find the probability of an event happening or the chances of multiple ocurrences. These are really usefull in our lifes and helps us a lot.
