Mr.Bennet He has alot of tollerance for his wife and daughters . He very distance with his family he is only close with his daughter Elizabeth . He is also a very lazy does not care about his family only himself no redeming Charastics he is okay looking.He dosen't have any dreams maybe be just lonely or get away from his wife. Addition of what i have said here is a Quote said by Elizbeth "Dumb men are the only ones worth knowing, after all"(pg154). meanig after all he is horrible you should dig up more things about him.

It takes place in England around the early 19th cenuntry but the people that are told in this story live in a village called Longbourn. The story is takes place most of the time in this village at a manor in Netherfield park, olso the Bennet house hold where most of the main characters are around. The novel revolves around getting the bennet daughters married and ship off somewhere. The daughters some fall in love right away and outhers reseast the advances of the men. As the story goes on the plot opf it comes together and brings people who where once apart come together. There is a example in this story that kinda gives you an idea of what iam saying this quote was said by Mrs. bennet " It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife" (pg5). That gives a mainidea whats going on and the search for a wife. Also to gain wealth and power.

The connection with the story is intriging then I have originaly thought of it. In the begging to be hounest I diden't really understand it all the way. After while I kinda had to think on it the theme of it is young love and truly discovering it. In this time frame where this story takes place during this era it was about getting married, having children, also having wealth., nouthing else mattered. If you think of the past and the storys or common knowledge of history this explans it.Their was quote in this story that give back up to my claim this was said by Eliza " happines in marriage is entirely a matter of chance" (pg24). What she explains is that sometimes they can be put into a arranige marriage to a person you have never met before and could absoultly hate. Women in this time really didnt have a say in who they want to marry. They could also get lucky and fall in love with someone and get marry. It depends on the situation you are in. The girls in this story did get lucky and fell in love with someone who where tohe key to there heart.

Sadie Ortega,period 7,11/27/15 Mrs.Bennet She is a horrible person who is very cold hearted she has no redeming charastics not very attractive. she only cares about herself and wealth, also to get rid of her daughters.I personally think she dosen't deserve kids. She does not change at all in the story she remains the same I don't think she has any dreams.Heres a quote that gives you an idea of her this said by Mr. Darcy " In vain have i struggled . It will not due" (pg56). basically in her end she will not die in vain and will haunt her family. Elizabeth Bennetshe is the second oldest out of the daughters she is very intellgent also quite beautiful. I feel like she can be snooty to outher people and be judgemental.Her beauty and personality stands out quit well.She also has a admirer who wont take a hint. I think her dreams are to not get marry to someone who she dosen't know but to live her life. There is a quote that describes her said by herself " Pride relates more to our opion of ourselves, vainty to what we would have outher think of us"(pg21). we should have more pride then your looks.

The story was ok it wasn't my style of literature i was just curious of the idea of it. Her writing style i had a little difficulty following maybe i didnt understand all of the story its my opinon. The characters wll some where a little dull and there were some who were interesting who had deapth. The plot of the story was not very hard to follow it takes you back in time in history. I absolutly love where this story takes place i would love to go to this country on of my favorite places. Yes and no I kinda lie the story but in some ways i dident I dont think was my cup of tea. I think iam on the fence with this story. i would give it four and half stars out of five stars just to be nice in the end.
