Polar Bears can grow to be up to 1,300 pounds!
Polar Bears are only found in the Artic region. The Artic region is made up of 19 subpopulations but Alaska, Canada, Russia, Greenland, and Norway are the ones with Polar Bear populations. In this region you can find the Polar Bears by large ice packs, where they find most of their prey. Individual Polar Bears can travel thousands of miles per year following the seasonal come-and-go of the ice packs.
