NEVERMORE!

The Bluebird- A ParodyOnce upon a morning dreary, while I pondered bleak and blearyover many confused quizzes of abominable score,Suddenly I heard a pinging--pinging, dinging, ringing, singing,Pinging at my virtual window in my webbed door. What is that noxious nuisance? I testily implored. Must be a minor message and merely nothing more. And so I just continued thinking, the poised red pen barely inkingessays about poems and stories of archaic yore.Again I heard incessant pinging--pinging, dinging, ringing, singing, impatient pinging interrupting my important chore. This time, the blinking i phone, I did not ignore.Twas just the Twitter Bluebird and merely nothing more. Then this bold blue bird beguiling my concern into smilingwith his digital decorum and bright plumes that it wore.''We missed the learning target,'' I said. ''How could so many still forget? How can I get more kids to comprehend the common core?'' Twittered the bluebird, ''Don't be a bore. You must do more.''So thus, this Glogster. --Mrs. Jane Yates
