THE LIFE OF POCAHONTAS

In 1613 Pocahontas was captured by Captain Samuel Argall and she was brought to Jamestown Virginia

In 1608 Pocahontas saved John smith from getting killed by her father.

Pocahontas lived with her mother for about 8 to 10 years and then moved to go live with her father and older half siblings.

Pocahontas had 29 other siblings but she was always her fathers favorite child.

Pocahontas was not her real name. Pocahontas was nick named Pocahontas because it meant "playful one".
