A botanist is a scientist who specializes in the study of plants. One of the most famous botanist is Luther Burbank. (pictured below)
Plants are living organisms that grow in the ground, usually have leaves or flowers, and need sun and water to survive.
There are three life cycles a plant could have.They are annual, bi-annual, and Perennial. Annual- completes life cycle in one year. Bi-annual- completes life cycle in two years. Perennial- completes life cycle in more than two years.
