Climate & Geography

The Plains have grass covered areas and also some streams and rivers. The geography is very popular in this region. Their climate is also important. their winters are always very cold. All the summers are hot.

Interesting Facts

Tipi are made of buffalo hide.They would hold 30 to 40 people. The 15 foot poles were sometimes hard to find. All the men were always in charge of the ouside of the teepee.

Food Sources

Buffalo was the main food source. They used the meat of the buffalo for food. The horns were used as spoons, cups and toys.The bones were tools.
