A physical therapist can only reach a higher position by recieving expirence. After two years of expirence, one can become a Sr. Physical therapist. From here, they will need two additional years of expirence before they can become a Clinical Specialist, the highest position possible.

Effects on Personal LifePhysical Therapists have excellent job opportunites in a variety of settings and can often find part time jobs. However, it can be a demanding medical position and they may have to work on weekends or holidays in an emergency situation. Many physical therapists report not being confident in their ability to apply the concepts of behavioral change therory in their clinical practice.

EducationPhysical therapists are required to have an extended eduaction of five years. They need to recieve their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree and their Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) Degree. After this, one can become a Physical Therapist.
