helps the war

1753 - born1761 - sold into slavery1778 - married1784 - died

Phillis Wheatley inspired abolitionists, who were important to the war though her poetry. this is the poem that inspired so many men to join & told George Washington in person, " In every human beast, god has inplanted a principle, which we call love of freedom; it is impaint of oppresion, & plants for deliverance." So, i'd say her poems helped make people want to join the war.
