Pharaoh Khufu
It is believed that Khufu had three wives to which he had quite a few children. Khufu’s sons were Kawab, Djedefre, Khafre, Djedefhor, Baufra, Babaef, Khufukhaef I, Minkhaf and Horbaef. His daughters were Nefertiabet, Hetepheres II, Meresankh II, Meritites and Khamerernebty I.

Khufu was buried in the Great Pyramid Of Khufu at Giza (The Largest Pyramid Built). This Pyramid is known for how large it is and has a width of 230 m and The height of 139 m. It took approximately 20 years to build because of the three burial chambers it has inside. .

Khufu became a Pharaoh because of his Father and Mother (Sneferu and Hetepheres I). Hetepheres I was the Queen of Egypt and Sneferu was the King Egypt which meant Khufu became King when His father died. Khufu reigned from 2586 to 2566 BC. Some describe Khufu to be a heartless ruler who was cruel and wicked, though some describe as a good natured person.

Khufu was the second Pharaoh in the fourth dynasty of the Old Kingdom. When Khufu stepped onto the throne, he gave orders to build what is known as the Great Pyramid of Giza. This was the thing that made him famous. Khufu was the first Pharaoh to give orders to build a pyramid on Giza. The project took about 23 years to complete and is now one of the wonders of the world.
