FACTS AND STATISTICS

When adjectives or phrases are used to emphasis a point eg.

Using words to make people feel sad, angry, guilty, sympathetic or upset.

Repeating words or phrases so that they stick in your audience's mind.

Using questions that do not need an answer to get your audience think.

When information that is given is over the top, to make things seem better or worse than they usually are.

Using words like 'we', 'you', 'our' and 'us' to make your audience feel like you are only taking to them.

Using truthful evidence and details to back up a point.

REPETITION

Repeating the consonant sounds at the beginning of words to make them stand out eg. pick the piping hot pizza
