Paul Robeson

Paul Robeson was an African American, he was a singer, actor and supported the civil rights for the people around the world. ~"During the 1940s, Robeson continued to perform and speak out against racism in the U.S. and for peace among nations."~ "In 1945, he also headed an organization that challenged President Truman to support an anti-lynching law."~"In 1950, the U.S. government revoked Robeson's passport, leading to an eight year battle to secure it and to travel again."

Paul Robeson was best known as a Warrior. According to "Paul Robeson" it states "Robeson regularly spoke out against racial injustice and was involved in world politics". This shows that he was also known as an activist who spoke out againsts racism.

Many people might say that Paul robeson wasnt a warior . Paul Robeson was an african American who played football. People say that since hes not American that he should not be playing football. According to "Blacklisted" it states "Hollywood was a major focus of the accusations, and after 10 actors refused to testify in front of the House Committee on Un-American Activities, the blacklist was created. Hundreds of actors, actresses, directors, screenwriters and other entertainment professionals were barred from working."

Overcoming Social ills

Paul Robeson overcomes Social ills by creating an organizations that will support the anti-lynching law. He also used the First Amendment, the freedom of speech. He wanted to stop racism and have peace with other Nations.
