-In 1952 she began performing with Bill Peer's band-Changed her name to "Patsy" for performances-Married Gerald Cline in 1953-Landed a recording contract in 1954, but her first singles failed to catch on-In 1957, she landed a spot in Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts show-Performed "Walkin' After Midnight" and won the competition-The song hit the country and pop charts-Patsy divorced Gerald Cline-She married Charles Dick and had 2 children, Julie (f) and Randy (m)
