Presentation by Rannveig Magnúsdóttir at Landvernd related to a local ecological restoration project
Eco-Schools is an international award program that guides schools on their journey towards a sustainable school environment.
More than 11 million students in 53 countries around the world participate in the program, which makes it the largest environmental education program in the world. In Iceland, the Eco-School program is run by Landvernd.
Presentation by Guðmundur Ingi Guðbrandsson on Landvernd mission, vision and main projects.
Other two presentations were provided by Katrín Magnúsdóttiron on the Eco-Schools project and by Caitlin Wilson on working with climate change and biodiversity in schools
