Owl Pellets

..............Owls are not the only birds that cast pellets, more than 300 species of birds cast pellets, such as hawks, robins, and tree sparrows................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Did you know….? Owls swallow their prey only to regurgitate them later?

Because owls don’t tear their prey to pieces, there is always a complete skeleton of at least one rodent in every pellet.
