Owls

What do they eat?Squirrels, sknks, rabbits, birds, snakes, insects, mice, and other creatures.

What type of environment do they live in?They are found on every continent except Antartica in every kind of habitat.

Owls grow from 5-33 inches. They weigh between 1-4.4 pounds. Their life span is up to 36 years. in zoo's they live 50-60 years.

What do they look like?Soft, plumaged, short-tailed, big-headed bords with a flat facial disks & large forward facing eyes.

Owls babies are called owlets. Owls can lay 1 egg every 2 days for 2 weeks. Barn owls lay between 2-11 eggs.

Owls cannot chew their food
